These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SteadyRise Family Money ("SteadyRise"), accessible at app.steadyrise.us. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

SteadyRise is a household finance application for budgeting, transaction tracking, and goal management. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including invited family members.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or malicious.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you put into SteadyRise. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to operate the service for you. See our Privacy Policy for more.

5. Pricing

SteadyRise is currently free to use while we refine the product. We will provide advance notice — by email and in-app — before introducing any paid plan, and your existing data will remain accessible.

6. Disclaimers

SteadyRise is a personal finance tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteadyRise will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the service.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms or if required by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
